Church Street, (50 East), American Fork Cost: $29 To register call 801-763-3081 Keynote Speaker at 9:00 a.m. - Presentations, panelists & speakers from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Early bird specials: Register before April 15, the cost is $29 a person, $25 for a group of three or more people. After April 15 registration is $40. Lunch is not included. Catered lunch from Flour Girls & Dough Boys will be extra, about $8. Participants can sign up for the lunch the morning of the conference. Editors will also examine query letters from some participants to comment on what sells a manuscript pitch. Not to be missed - the most useful speech on writing you will ever hear! Keynote speaker John D. Brown will present 'Three things you MUST know to write killer stories.' John Brown is a prize-winning short story writer and novelist. His epic fantasy novel, "Servant of a Dark God" will be released in North America in September 2009. Author Sara Harr, National Book Award finalist and ALA pick, Best Book for Young Adults, speaking on "The Slow Reveal - A Ten-Year Journey to Publication."
