DEPARTMENT MISSION STATEMENT:
American Fork Fire/Rescue Department will provide the highest level of emergency services that our resources will allow to the citizens of our community. We are committed to excellence in the delivery of these services through goals such as:
- Support and serve community through public education
- Ongoing training to improve individules safety and skills
- Continue improving our methods by implementing new technology and procuring enhanced equipment.
- Encourage all to create "UNITY".
American Fork Fire/Rescue over the past three years have become a combination department, with the hiring of (4) full-time firefighter/EMT-I personnel, and (8) part-time firefighter/EMT-I, which make up A shift and B shift for day coverage. Also in 2009 we have staffed Paramedic/Rescue program, with (2) paramedics at our station 24/7. Currently Fire/Rescue personnel total 74, and are made up of full-time, part-time and volunteer paid personnel.
