The Northern Utah Horseshoe Pitching Association hosts the annual Steel Days amateur Horseshoe Tournament. The local charter provides a tournament director and equipment to include, extra horseshoes, shovels, brooms, score keepers, etc. The winners are awarded a membership into the local chapter which allows them to participate in other statewide tournaments.

Thursday the 8th of July will be amateur night with registration at 6:30pm and competition starting at 7pm. Winners will receive free admittance into the Friday night tournament… a $75 value. Friday night is the state tournament, (Steel Days Tournament) and it starts at 6pm and goes till dark. Saturday morning is the Stokes Memorial Classic and it will be played at the Jensen horseshoe pits. Anyone can enter the Friday and Saturday event, but only amateurs can enter on Thursday.
