Volunteering is a wonderful opportunity that is open to all of us and there are a variety of opportunities throughout American Fork City to get involved, from serving on a Board or Commission to participating as a volunteer.
Meals-on-Wheels (PDF) needs volunteer drivers 1 day a week, for 1 hour, in a limited delivery radius from American Fork Senior Center. Volunteers use their own vehicles to pick up the food at the Senior Center and deliver the meals to the elderly, ill, frail, or disabled senior in their homes. If you are interested in delivering Meals-On-Wheels, please contact Jimmy Golding at 801-229-3821.
The Parks and Recreation Committee has identified a service opportunity to help keep the trees in the parks looking nice by digging rings around the trees and placing mulch to keep the weeds and grass down. To learn more about this project click here to review the guidelines and best practices. Anyone interested in helping out with this project should contact Jason Thomson, Parks Superintendent, at 801-763-3060.
